Hi ALL

Just wondered whether anyone can help r... I am trying for a baby and have been advised by my gp that it is ok with the ADs that I am on.I have been on them for 3/4 months.... Does this take longer than the average time to fall due to taking AD's?, does the AD's make it harder?

I concieved fine, but gave up the ADs as soon as I found out (they weren't suitable)

Its been about 3mths of trying but nothings happened as yet?, I am going to stay on the AD's as they are not the worst ones to take... but just wanted to know whether this makes it harder to fall.....?

have you tried an ovulation kit? and doing "it" at the right time of the month etc.? I fell straight away, but timing was bang on (no pun intended).

well I havent actually as I am a new starter for babies (ha ha) so wasnt sure...
Due to the AD's (i presume) my cycle has been all over the place aswell..
my gp said it would be fine to take it when I fall aswell as sertraline isnt as bad as the over AD's apparantly but who knows... I will take it and slowly cut down but to be honest its the whole fall things???? : (

Hi gorgeous. I am taking clomipramine, amd now pg after 3 years of trying and have been told I can take them all the way through. What prevented me from conceiving is a high level of prolactin, which stops ovulation. Some medications can cause this (in my case I have a benign tumour and it is nothing to do with the ADs). I'm not a doctor but if I were you I would get a hormone profile, which is how my prolactin level showed up. It can't hurt - and prolactin levels are easily fixed.
