Need a moan am soooo fed up of unrelenting nausea

Im so happy to be pregnant with dc2 its been a long painful road to get here. But the nausea is killing me! 11+1 today and this constant feeling is giving me the rage! I know it could be much worse, I'm not dealing with hg or lots of vomiting, but retching, feeling like I can't move yet having to get on with work and entertaining 3.5 year old dd is getting to me! Hopefully I'm at the end but anyone else feeling like this?

I hear ya! I had this with ds (3.6), just rather be sick and get it over with!!
I'm only 6+1 this time so early into the feeling this time, and hope it doesn't last long, but Im finding sipping lucozade is helping.
Hope it doesn't last much longer for you :(

Oh God I'm with you!

I've been regularly moaning posting about the practicalities of juggling 24 hour sickness with looking after my 14 month old! Was in hospital last time with HG and have medicine again this time but its not hitting the spot! So, so, so fed up.

Thrilled to have our very much wanted DC2 and we've not had our first scan yet so I'm beating myself up for not being more grateful/accepting as I feel like all this moaning is tempting fate! Can't wait to find out how far along I am, find out on the 20th! I'm hoping I'm closer to 16 rather than 10 as that's when it let up last time!

Hope you feel better soon! All my sympathies!

Fellow dry-heaver here, I'm expecting my third in October and I am so sick of feeling sick. I'm 8 weeks and the prospect of another month of this is so daunting. I don't feel like eating, drinking or getting up off the sofa and my poor kids (5 and 2) must be wondering who I am and what I've done with their mother. I love having babies, but early pregnancy is shit. I know I'm lucky, honestly I do, some people go through so much to be in my position I know that, but it feels horrible. I feel like I've been drugged or something. Do you know what else? I have piles ALREADY!

Please forgive the rant, I have just about had enough today.

I was talking on phone whilst walking to train today and was sick on phone....new pregnancy low.

Early pregnancy is so hard, glad I'm not alone. Just got over an awful virus too, and feeling guilty for moaning as have wanted this for so long. Anyone else retch from teeth brushing too? Anything makes me retch. A too tight top, going outside, coming inside, smells, sounds argh! I wonder if it will go the second we hit 12 weeks!?? I can't stand the smell of cooking, I struggle to make dinner for ds, just bloody awful.

Marshmallows have helped this evening which is a bit odd!

Another one here who's fed up and I'm not even at 7 weeks yet! Really struggling with work stress and yet I want to save up sick days in case it gets much worse.

It took 20 months to get a BFP for #1. 20 months and I'm moaning already!

I'm 6 weeks plus 1 day and I feel okay (ish) all day up until 4ish when awful nausea creeps up on me usually resulting in vomiting. I'm using travel sickness wrist bands which do seem to help and ive also ordered some preggie pop lollies which are available on Amazon! I'm willing to try anything as its so difficult trying to look after a demanding 5 year old aswell as dealing with this feeling. Lemon tea helps to settle my stomach but I just don't understand why the sickness hits at night and not in the morning when supposedly the hormones are at their highest

I hear ya! I was diagnosed with HG last week and put on medication to control the sickness. I haven't been sick for a few days now which is great and very much appreciated but the crippling nausea is really getting me down. I can't even stand up straight. It feels like my upper stomach will burst open at any second.

I have a 15mo and I'm struggling to look after him. I just want to lay down and wallow in my own misery not run around the living room playing games. I feel so bad for him. I've had to stick him in front of the tv for most

Ice-lollies help me, very soothing when you've been throwing up a lot.
Yes toothbrush makes me gag, as do sudden changes in light, temperature, anything moving (going in car or even just scrolling on phone sometimes or watching something moving) and the smell of food. I can't go to supermarket or restaurants, avoiding public places in general at mo.
The worst thing is going to bed, then feeling too sick to sleep and vomiting acidic bile in toilet for an hour because stomach won't stop contracting even though nothing to come up!

bless you honey that honestly sounds awful and I know exactly how you feel having to look after a little one, I also feel so guilty and feel like I'm constantly telling my son off and becoming a nag, poor child came for a snuggle the other day and was sent away because he stunk of cheese and onion crisps and made me gag you are not on your own and you are giving your little one a wonderful gift of a Little brother/ sister to play with. Don't be too hard on yourself and when you can grab a rest whilst he watches TV I don't blame you, have you any supportive family/ friends who could help share the childcare load until your sickness passes ?

Sarky don't feel bad, it's not your fault and it'll pass. Your LO will survive the odd day in front of the telly and a sibling will enrich his life massively in the long run. You will feel better and be back to usual self soon enough. Rest whenever you can, and call in any help you can from family and friends until you hit the mythical blooming phase :)

Can I join in? 6+2 with DC2 and constant nausea since 3+3. Sick once or twice a day, usually, but oh, the grotty nausea feeling. Last time, bacon sandwiches helped. This time, everything is a trigger. Eating. Not eating. Tiredness. Smells. Cars. I'm so bored of it already!

Right, moan over for the next 5 minutes. DS is enjoying a Charlie and Lola marathon which is my saviour.

literally ten minutes ago I couldn't move out of bed with nausea, now I'm off to the chippy for chips and gravy, I feel as though I own a bi polar stomach right now

I am 18w and could have written your post when I was 11w! I was only sick a few times during early pregnancy but the days I was sick were the easiest because the nausea went away. I too had unrelenting all-day nausea most days and I was absolutely miserable. Everything triggered me and there were very few foods I could stomach, none of which were very healthy! It peaked at around week 10 for me and tapered off from week 12 onwards, by about week 14 it was a distant memory and I could enjoy my pregnancy. Most people I know say it got better after 12 weeks, so hopefully you are almost there. You have my sympathies, it was hard enough going through it when I didn't already have a little one to look after!
