Early 6 week scan

Been referred by my GP due to previous problems- what should I expect to see?!

I had a scan at 5+5 and there was a heartbeat - but if you don't get one then don't be concerned as you can't always see one that early. Other than that I could see what looked like a diamond ring and my 3mm long baby was the diamond apparently! Guess the ring was the sac or something - biology never was my strong point

This was my 6 week scan yesterday :) saw strong HB and beany was 3.44mm

Enjoy it and don't panic if there's no HB yet xx

Batfish the diamond ring story was what the sonographer told me too. Tbh I couldn't see much but I could see the little heart beat and that was enough really. Hope all goes well OP. :)
