Fragmin allergic reaction

Hi,
I am 4 weeks pregnant with my second child. Following recurrent miscarriages after my DS was born, I was diagnosed with a blood clotting disorder.

I have been prescribed baby Asprin and 5000iu Fragmin injections to be taken daily. First injections yesterday caused no probs but today I had swelling of my eye lids and bottom lip and a rash with bumps appeared down both legs. Felt fine in myself though.

Nurse at the clinic says to stop taking the injections but I know I need something to prevent the clotting. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there an alternative to Fragmin for treating blood clotting?

Just when you get over one hurdle, another seems to appear!

There are alternatives out there but wrt pregnancy safety I can't really offer any info. DH was on fragmin (dalteparin) injections and now takes Clopidogrel instead.
