Hey,

I've been taking RLC since week 37, I'm 40w on Thursday. Can't say I'm surprised that I haven't noticed anything yet, but I've been told there is more benefit AFTER birth?

Anyone got any experciences with these capsules? I take two of the 424mg tablets a day

Thanks

I took I think 3 per day at 37 weeks then 6 per day until 40 weeks then 9 per day until DS was born at 41+6.
I had a very quick birth, which I don't know if I can put down to the raspberry leaf, but from start to finish labour lasted about 5 hours so I'd probably take them again just in case.

I took the capsules from 36 weeks - went into labour at 38+6 and had a four hour labour.

Ooh! So I can safely take more tablets?
I was thinking of maybe having one per meal? It's going to be one of those things, you don't know if they have helped or not.

I've heard its good for the uterus afterwards, I'll be happy with that too.

Thanks ladies x

My husbands aunt is a midwife in a different area to me. She doesn't really get involved with my pregnancy (34 weeks ) but did advise me on drinking raspberry leaf tea from 32 weeks and increasing number of cups as I go. she commented that it conditions / strengthen the uterus so can aid in a quicker stage two. I find the tea hard to drink as I don't drink normal tea so might just switch to tablets. So I'd say upping the amount of tablets will be fine for you.
