Am so confused....there is so much choice.
Happy to pay more for a good product and perhaps one that will last longer for the baby...
Can anyone who has found a product invaluable provide a recommendation? I have had a look in the review section but there are not that many reviews.
Thanks!

We had this. Our dd1 has always been happy in it since about 4 weeks and still uses it now at 20 months

Following with interest...

For my ds, we had one borrowed from a friend, which was approx £15 from Mothercare. Did the job fine. Lasted for dd too.

Just looking on the Mothercare website and whilst they still sell a similar model, some are in excess of of £100! What the actual fuck? Do these magic chairs make me a brew and bring me cake as well as rocking the baby?!Shock

Bigbadgeorge · 01/03/2015 11:03

Haha I know! Mine was in the sale and a gift from work colleagues but was still 50 quid. A good one is pretty invaluable though!

I wouldn't spend much initially because done babies can't stand rockers or swings. We made the mistake of buying a big expensive swing and DD hated it. :(

We got this one which is similar to the one above

She is 6 months and

NerrSnerr · 01/03/2015 11:54

Loves it. It also tips back so can sleep in it when she nods off.

(We also got ours with vouchers and in the sale).

Don't buy one of these. I had an older model that was so useless it got ebayed when ds was 4 months old!

We had the fisher price rainforest bouncer and the swing. Bouncer was the best thing we bought, he used it until around 6/7 mo when he started trying to climb out!

The swing was good but batteries ran down quickly whereas with a bouncer you can rock it with your foot while you drink tea and mn.

He liked the music and lights on the fisher price bouncer but I don't think they're vital. He was more interested in the hanging toys.

Buy in the sale or second hand.

Mirror those that recommended the fisher price newborn to toddler rocker. My DD lives in it as a newborn and now as a 15 month old still uses it as a seat and loves it. Def recommend!

Thanks very much for your suggestions - am checking them out! X

Totally recommend the toddler rockers suggested above - we bought a mama and papa one and only lasted a couple of months then didn't bother taking it out of the attic for dc2 and both use it.

croon979 · 02/03/2015 10:20

Yes, have to say that the toddler rockersdo look good
