How long before labour starts after a show? What's your experience?

I had a show yesterday morning, and its carried on today (I didn't expect there to be THIS much!). I know that it can happen two weeks or so before labour begins, but I was just wondering what your experience is and whether labour normally starts more quickly than this. Today is my due date and I would really like to know that this baby is on its way out as I feel ready to pop!!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I didn't have a show until five hours into early labour (about 1 cm)... others I know have had a show a couple of days before labour started. Don't know anyone who had to wait two weeks though but thats only in my circle of friends . Hope it happens for you quickly!
