Waters have gone at 32 weeks

My waters went on Friday morning at 31+6 weeks. I have been given 2 lots of steroids and I'm staying in hospital until tomorrow. They will send me home tomorrow morning after a scan and I will need to come back every few days to be put on a trace etc and have my blood pressure checked.

The midwives, consultants and nurses have all been fantastic. I've been for a tour around NICU incase I go into labour and I've been told ill be induced between 34 and 36 weeks if I don't get an infection or go into labour naturally before then.

I'm desperate to get home and spend some time with my DD, but I'm scared that I will miss something at home and not notice if there's something wrong with the baby! I know waters can regenerate but (tmi) I'm losing a large amount every evening so I'm guessing whatever is being regenerated is coming straight out as soon as I lie down!

Has anyone been in this situation, or is due in the next few weeks? I'm still so unprepared I thought I had at least another month! The first thing ill be doing when I get home is packing mine and babies hospital bags as DP had to pack mine for this stay. Maternity pad on a thong anyone? Confused

If anyone has been through anything similar I would appreciate positive stories also! And any tips on not worrying, or what I might need extra for an early baby as opposed to a full term one!
