Double Chin horror

I am not happy. I am now 5 days over my due date with my first and my boyfriend has just informed me charmingly that I have a double-chin.

I'm not sure how I missed it to be honest because when I went to look in the mirror he is right.

I have gained weight during the pregnancy but I still feel I look ok - most of it is bump and I know I can lose the rest once DD has finally arrived - however I'm worried about these chins.

I've got a bit puffy around the feet and ankles recently - could it be water retention? Can anyone reassure me that it will go away? :(

It's the pregnant chin and yes it will go don't worry.

I have it and I'm 14 weeks. I'm counting on it being easy to lose later on!

Hi OP, how's your blood pressure? If your face and feet are puffy it could be a sign of pre-eclampsia. It's most likely nothing, water retention is common and you've probably just put a bit of weight on your face, but if it looks puffy to you maybe get your bp checked, just to be safe :)
