I cannot work out trimesters!!

Hi all, just a quick one. I'm 26+5 and today my pregnancy app said i was in the third trimester. yesterday it was still on second. don't understand why!!! anyone explain this to me please?

Your second trimester ends at 27+6. Third starts at 28. hth

some sites say the second trimester ends after week 27 but others say it ends after week 26. Maybe your app works to week 27 being the start of the 3rd trimester
