Faint positive and negative tests?

I have taken 2 first response tests today and the result showed a very faint positive line but a clear blue test states not pregnant. Any similar stories and if so what were the outcomes? tia.

Fr tests are more sensitive than clearblue digital.

My faint positive is currently chucking bits of apple at me!

Congratulations!

My faint positive was on a Fr test I mean!

scarednoob · 26/02/2015 18:25

this

i got 2 negatives on CB, then 2 positives on FF.

i was pretty shocked!

You can't get a false positive, but you can get a false / inaccurate negative.

Congratulations!

Even if the vertical line is the faintest line that you might miss if you weren't looking for it?

Yes.

I mean, if you are imagining a line, that is a false positive Grin
But if you can honest to god see something there, then that is an indicator of pregnancy hormones in your urine.

Impatientwino · 26/02/2015 18:35

Yup mine was a proper squinty eye thought I was imagining it type of line!

Rtfairy · 26/02/2015 18:41

Thank you for responses, there is definitely a line there just a very faint one. Test was taken late in day and after lots of water so will take another in the morning but things are sounding like I am Smile

Well did the other clear blue test first thing this morning and it was negative so I'm not convinced now. Think I will wait a few days and if still no period do another test. Just hate not knowing!

When is your period due?

Rtfairy · 27/02/2015 17:55

I don't know mummypig, I wasn't trying to conceive and have been so busy returning to work after ML I haven't given it much thought. I don't think I have had a period this month though so should be due about now (I think).
