Hi im after just some general advice... Has anyone had a cerclage and returned to work as normal and if so how long. I had mine 8 days ago and my sick note runs out on Sunday... I have a 13 hour shift monday and work on my feet. I'm still twinging a lot and have pink and brown spotting I really don't think it's safe ???

I had 1 month off post cerclage op as signed off by consultant (she did 14 days then another 14 after check up) to get me to 24 weeks. I have office job but due to commute and general being on safe side though best to have a month off on partial bed rest/minimal activity. Get your Dr to sign you off if you don't want to go back. I gave birth to healthy baby at 39 weeks. Cerclage removed at 36w.

Ps I don't think you should go back to 13 hour shift so soon
