Wasn't sure where to put this so here goes ...

If you had a baby over 9lb15 or 4500g at birth, what was your baby's postnatal treatment like?

Is it standard to stay in hospital for blood sugar testing etc?

I've already had SVD for 9lb+ babies so not at all concerned about labour, but trying to think about the practicalities now.

There's no GD and no GTT booked this time (passed one last time) but plenty of time yet.

I can't find any NICE guidelines as they all refer to induction for macrosomia or GD.

TIA

ag123 - there is zero chance colostrum was enough for my DS. I went on to bf well past 6 months, but never had enough so had to top up throughout.
