Hi all, I tested positive at the weekend, 2-3 weeks on a digi.
The last 48 hours I've had cramps sporadically and what started off as a brownish type discharge yest (sorry tmi) has now become red blood this morning but not massively heavy.
I haven't even booked in with my midwife yet, if the inevitable is happening do I just wait it out at home? take some painkillers and get comfy on the sofa? See how the pain/bleeding goes and test again in a few days?
My partner said about hosp but there's no point is there.. They can't scan me this early and I don't want to be wasting anyone's time.
Just after a bit of advice really. Thanks in advance

Hi, when was your last LMP? My early pregnancy unit start scanning from 5 weeks, so if it was more than 5 weeks ago then you may be entitled to a scan. Not sure if all units or different but I just self referred myself at 6 weeks to my EPU and they offered me a scan the next day. Fingers crossed for you that it's nothing to worry about.

I think it's best to still be seen, would be on your record Incase you ever needed investigating, plus if worst was to happen you'd need to make sure it all comes away/wasnt ectopic. Least they can do is check your hcg levels via blood. Fingers crossed it's all normal, many people do have bleeds and have healthy babies. I bled every month for 5 months with dd1 (she's now 10) good luck Flowers
