Earliest you felt movement in your first pregnancy?

Just that reality. I'm being incredibly impatient and just wondering when the earliest possible time is that I might start to feel movement. I'm currently 13 weeks. Thought I felt something the other day but well aware it was probably wind.

So, when was the earliest you felt movement?

I felt a little nudge like a bubble bursting at 16 weeks and then on and off but nothing frequent until about 19 weeks. I am now 21+5 and feeling lots of wriggles. DH felt the baby last night for the first time too! It's lovely :-) Congratulations on your pregnancy! Flowers

THEworrywart HA! they will have you sussed already Grin

I certainly think the early days you get a lot of wind and that can be confused with movement, but I found second time round I could feel definite movement a lot earlier.

This time baby seems quieter, but even though I have had 3 scans already (i'm 19+3) I haven't actually remembered to ask the position of the placenta!

I have another scan next week so may ask then (if I remember) Blush

My mum an dad know I had to tell them I live with them still I think my sisters onto it really only need to keep it a secret till after my scan tomorrow (providing it's all well)

The second time (and so on) you do/it's been found to feel movements earlier. This is my first pregnancy.

14 weeks with first, quite definite kicks from the outset. Later with the other two I think.

I felt very early, about 13 weeks IIRC. However, DD started life as a twin so she was tucked up tight in a corner and therefore easier to feel. She was a very active baby right through the pregnancy.

20 weeks, a few days after the scan. Felt like bubbles surfacing in thick custard.

twomorecats · 25/02/2015 21:02

I'm 19 weeks with my first and think I can feel it. So difficult to know though!

FeelTheNoise · 25/02/2015 21:54

17 weeks, and I absolutely cannot wait to feel this one kick Grin

Alisvolatpropiis · 26/02/2015 18:22

I'm 24+4 with my first. Didn't feel anything I could say with cofidence was movement before I was 19 weeks. It's only been in the last few days I've been able to feel movement externally too.

According to the scans I've had the baby is a right little mover though

lunalovegood84 · 26/02/2015 18:29

I was 14-15 weeks when I started feeling movements. Got a proper thump at 19 weeks.
