Hi ladies

I am 6+1 and have a girls night coming up in 2 weeks.
We always do wine but now I'm pg I don't want miss out and I want to feel part of the night so some 'fake' wine may be nice.

Any recommendations for some good dealcoholised wine as I believe some do exist!

Thanks

SueV14 I have to say, as much as I consider myself a wine snob, my absolute favourite is easily obtainable at supermarkets; Ravenswood Zinfandel Lodi. Saying that, the 2008 vintage was the best and I've not found anything to beat it...sadly don't think you can get it any more. The later vintages haven't been as good, IMO.

There was also an amazing Australian wine called 'The Dingo Fence' a while back (and we're talking, like, 10 years ago)- can't remember the grape or anything and I've not been able to find it since- but it was BEAUTIFUL. Tasted like chocolate and blackberries. Yum!

We've got a bottle of Cloudy Bay Sauv B reclining on the wine rack at the moment; my husband is more of a fan of white than I am and I've found the last couple of Cloudy Bays a bit of a disappointment, but I'm sure I could choke it down when the time comes... Wink

To be honest, by the time I've dropped, I think I'll happily knock back anything! Cough medicine...turps...

Skeppers Cali Zinfandels can be really good. Although the one by Lodi I once got as a gift was rubbish (probably bad vintage, cant remember which one)

Aussie red sounds very much like a good shiraz - LOVE Shiraz!!

As for the kiwi whites I must have had an overkill of their Sauv Bl. at some point and therefore switched to their Rieslings. They are amazing, especially the Juliet by Two Rivers!

Mmmm..... I'm now sitting here with my mouth watering! sigh
