Should I be concerned about preterm labour?

Hi all, according to the date of my last period I'm 34 weeks pregnant but I'm half-convinced I'm further along then my scan says because my EDD would mean that it took me 3 days to conceive after having sex. With DD1 I didn't have any Braxton hicks until she was actually overdue and no leaking but last night I had leaky nipples and started to have BH contractions from 2am until 6am, some of them were only a few minutes apart. Does anybody know if this is normal? According to Babycentre you should only have 2 BH contractions per hour?!

3 days to conceive after having sex is normal - sperm live for up to 5 days and it takes a few days to implant.

Leaking nipples normal. If you're concerned about braxton hicks then speak to your midwife, I found I got loads if I'd overdone things that day but none or very few if I'd had a lazy day not an option with second pregnancy

I am 19 weeks (DC3) and sometimes have such frequent braxton hicks that it worries me. Apparently it is perfectly normal.

I've been getting pretty constant braxtons for the past 3-4 weeks and get leaky nipples too, I'm 36+3! If your worried tho phone mw to get reassurance!

As others, I didn't have any Braxton hicks with my first and this time have regularly been having 10-15 a day since about 24 weeks, I'm 31 weeks now and they are getting stronger but that's fairly normal with second pregnancy. If you are really worried though talk to your midwife. 3 day to conceive is perfectly normal too.

3 days to concieve is normal :) my scan put my conception date as 6 days after last dtd.

Leaking nipples is also very normal, im 28 weeks and everytime I slouch over or lay on my side they leak. And braxtons in a second + pregnancy tend to start much earlier and sometimes be more uncomfortable. Im now on dc4 and sometimes I have as many as 10-15 in an hour (think my womb is fed up lol)

But if you are concerned at all, do speak to your midwife for reassurance x

I think Braxton hicks are much more common (and earlier) in a second pregnancy.

I was getting contractions a couple of weeks ago, I had them most of the day and they went from one every 15 to 30 minutes to 2 in 10, the hospital decided they were braxton hicks even though they were so painful I was given oramorph to deal with the pain. They stopped over night, and have gone back to the normal tightening here and there since.
