Hi, I'm 11+2 and at the moment really struggling with food. I am starving all the time but don't FEEL like any type of food apart from maybe crisps but even then I'm not enjoying food I'm just eating. I just keep eating junk food because it's easy and I just don't know what else to eat. I still need to have breakfast but don't fancy cereal, toast, eggs, etc. Is it possible to have baby brain already Hmm. I just want to enjoy some food!!!!

Same here. I'm just going with it and eating what I can face when I can face it. Tried to do proper meals last time, it just made me feel worse.

I've been like this, just dont fancy anything but NEED to eat to stop the nausea. I have made a habit of branflakes for breakfast, and a yogurt and two pieces of fruit as snacks, whether i want them or not. Lunch and dinner i am really struggling with - had three burgers this week!!

This is pretty common in first trimester. I developed an aversion to eating at all, then hyperemisis at about werk 7-17. From then on I are mostky mini cheddars, ice lollies and tuna or prawn sandwhiches.

It's hard when you feel like that. Sometimes I made my own version of junk food, e.g. Toasted white muffin with toasted processed cheese.
Sometimes for dinner I had a punnet of raspberries with cream or Greek yogurt. (No wonder I had heartburn!)

I'm glad it's not just me struggling to eat healthily Smile

Before I got pregnant I ate very healthily- lots of salad, fruit, grains, lean protein... and I loved cooking. Since I developed HG this healthy diet has gone out the window! In the early stages of HG I found eating helped the nausea, but in the last few weeks I can't keep much down despite meds. I try and eat because I'm sick regardless (only it's more prolonged and painful on an empty stomach).

Yesterday I managed to keep down 2 yogurts, a nectarine and 3 lemon cupcakes, spread over the day. Everything else I tried to eat caused instant vomiting.

I wonder why some foods appeal and others seem so repulsive?
