Braxton Hicks . . .

Can it be normal not to get Braxton Hicks? I have two weeks until my due date and have not had a single twinge, the midwife says he is 4/5 engaged and I have had an increase in discharge (sorry for the gory details!) but nowt else!

Is it likely that little one will be hanging around?

I appreciate any pearls of wisdom!

my pal didn't seem to get them at all (maybe in the last week or so) whereas I got them from about 21 weeks!!!!!! Difference is my friend has excellent tummy muscles and I have pre-cut slack jowls

I never had any libb, & my 2 year old is sitting on my knee right now as proof that you can have a baby without them. I certainly don't/didn't have taut tummy muscles either .

I didn't get any with first pregnancy, but boy-oh-boy did I get them with second pregnancy - from about 4m right up to during the early hours of labour itself.
