Maternity clothes

I feel bad looking at maternity clothes already but it has to be done in 12 weeks (dreading my scan convinced I've had mmc) anyway.

Does anywhere at all do reasonably priced maternity jeans in a 6?! I'm normally a 4 and the 8s I've tried are ridiculous on me they make my legs look stupid! Leggings make my legs look ridiculous.

I was determined i wasn't going to purchase maternity clothes but it seems like my only option at the minute Sad

I found h&m jeans on the small side and the good thing is they usually have them in the shop to try on!

Good luck with your scan

Have you tried New Look online (easier than going to the store and more choice)? Think they might do a 6 and their maternity jeans are ok and reasonable.

I'm not sure any maternity jeans are completely comfy - my topshop Leigh maternity jeans were about £38 and I am forever yanking them up!!!

I'd say (begrudgingly) H&M. Pre pregnancy I was a 14, I'm still a 14 (lost a stone with morning sickness) but a 18 at H&M were too small(& their biggest size!). Jeans we'reapprox £24-£30

Thanks I'll try h&m.

New look don't do size 6 in maternity Angry their 8s didn't fit right. Topshop jeans are always a pain I think but the material is lovely and soft.

I got some lovely jeans and other clothes from Verbaudet.
Cheap too.

Yep, H&M. Mat clothes tend to be cut generously. I'm usually a 16 but have generally been a 14 in mat clothes everywhere apart from H&M, where I need an 18. If you're on the shorter side you'll probably need to have them taken up though. Don't get too much now as you might need to size up as you go along. Good luck with the scan!

That's assuming you've already gone through the 'hair bobble through the button hole and over the button' stage? That got me through to about 18-20 weeks, but I guess you will probably show earlier if you're a lot more petite.

Littlehopeful · 22/02/2015 12:54

Yeah I've done that! I started showing at 8ish weeks my cousin is 22 weeks and barely showing she's jammy!

Taking them up isn't a problem it's finding them long enough I'm 5'11.
I'm only going to buy a pair or two for now I think
