What can I do to help bring on labour?

Hi I'm 40 weeks today had midwife yesterday and have been booked in for a sweep next Friday plus induction date is 3rd march I will be 10 days over due, I have lost my plug (bloody show) in 4 bits babies head is engaged but I'm really uncomftable have bad backache really bad heartburn :( btw this is my 3rd baby I have a 3 year old who I was induced at 10days with and a 21 month old who was 4 weeks early (contractions just started) has anyone got any suggestions on how to bring on labour that worked for you?

I had a madras from our local takeaway. I wasn't used to spicy curry and is never eaten Indian cuisine before.

I went into labour a few hours later. Obviously I can't say for sure it was that but........
