Felt funny for about a week, It affected me quite badly though

curlykale · 20/02/2015 11:41

Just the day I had it, 10am jab and was gone by following morning. Was surprised just how achey it was though - more than the first time I had it.

rubberducky87 · 20/02/2015 11:54

About three days. Wasn't a very nice feeling at all!

anythingbutinsomnia · 20/02/2015 17:48

Oh goodness, is it normal to feel rubbish afterwards?! I'm having mine on Tuesday, followed by a day at work & 5 hour train journey, then full day running a training event & 5 hour journey back the following day. This will shatter me anyway as I have zero energy. Should i postpone the jab until another time? I'm only 29 weeks so have time

Chocolatecakefan · 20/02/2015 17:55

Mine was about 3-4 days

DanyStormborn · 20/02/2015 18:55

A couples of days.

GotToBeInItToWinIt · 20/02/2015 20:21

anything it depends... I felt completely fine after mine, no dead arm or anything. Some people have a reaction, some don't!

Xo90 · 20/02/2015 20:52

Thanks everyone. anythingbutinsomnia it doesn't make you feel ill. It's not a live injection. Just made me have a dead arm! I struggled doing my bra up Blush. It's still painfull now so if your doing anything physical I'd postpone the injection. If not I'd say it's fine to go ahead and have it.

My arm felt kinda heavy when I lifted it or moved it in certain positions lasted a few days.

speak2me · 20/02/2015 21:40

Mine took about a week to feel completely back to normal, was surprised it took that long really.

WingsClipped · 21/02/2015 04:08

Around 3 days- had it on the Friday and dead arm through the weekend

wawabear · 21/02/2015 08:02

Mine felt like I had done a bit of a work out. Not painful but just uncomfortable. Lasted about 4 days.

mummywithLplates · 21/02/2015 10:32

My upper arm had a red swollen lump for about 5 days. It was hot to touch and I was getting a bit worried but it then all disappeared. No other reaction and felt well on myself.

obeliaboo · 21/02/2015 11:19

I had mine Tuesday just gone and my arm has felt like i've been punched by an elephant ever since. Easing off now, but i've not been able to lift it properly without pain.
I've had fluey/morning sickness type crap since too. MEH.
