I don't feel pregnant!

I am pregnant with baby number 2 but I don't 'feel' pregnant at all!

I have none of the symptoms I had when I was pregnant with my first, my boobs are slightly more tender than usual but nothing like the pain I had the whole way through with DS, I'm not tired (well no more than usual working full time and looking after a toddler who doesn't sleep through the night), I've got no food cravings/aversions, no morning sickness, nothing!

I'm struggling to believe it's all actually true.

Has anyone else experienced this? Should I continue to be upset with myself or just grateful for a lovely problem free start to my pregnancy?

Each pregnancy is different, so you're not going to have the exact same symptoms you had with your first.

Grin Me!!

Currently 9 weeks exactly and other than slightly tender norks there's nowt going on at all. I got so panicked I booked an early scan last week and there was fidget in all its glory, heart pounding away.

You'll find loads of women on here exactly the same, I know, because I posted something identical to yours a few weeks back! We're a small but lucky minority it would seem!

Hope that helps

I'm so glad I'm not the only one!

Thank you Impatience. I'm thinking I might need to go for an early dating scan as I don't know how far on I am, so hopefully seeing something will help it sink in a bit more!

Same here - 9+2 and nada. Slightly sore boobs and tired (but not excessively). No MS. Also second baby. That said - I didn't get any particular symptms first time around - though I think my boobs were more sore and I was definitely more tired.

Hurrah for us lucky ones!

Good luck with your scan my darling.

I'm 25 weeks on Saturday and apart from feeling baby I've had no symptoms, I don't have a huge belly either. its all very surreal! congrats to you all!

I was the same with ds1, felt exactly the same as normal, could not understand what pregnant women moaned about etc....until morning sickness hit like a ton of bricks at about 9/10 weeks! Then I spent the next 25 weeks throwing up every hour like clockwork! Then spd and practically sofa bound for the last 5 weeks! Enjoy it while it's easy!

I didn't feel pregnant at all until about 14 weeks. No sickness, normal boobs, no cravings. Nothing!

I had perfectly healthy twins!

I've been suffering badly with hyperemesis for the past 6 or 7 weeks but I still don't feel pregnant! I thought the 12 week scan might make it feel real but nope! Still bizarre to think that I'm growing a really tiny human inside me!!
