It is so so light I had to squint at first last night to see it on the toilet paper. I still have a bit today only when I wipe and it's slightly darker.

I have my first scan with gyn on Sat but I'm wondering now if I should try to get seen today or just wait it out for another couple of days? There's no pain, no cramps, just stretchy feelings and I still feel sick and my nipples have grown again overnight.

I am concerned as I had a mmc at 12 weeks last year (1st pregnancy).

Last time there was no warning at all - no discharge, no bleeding, + tests at doc, we found out at our 9 week scan when they told us that our first baby had died at 6w4d.

I had brown discharge at this stage along with some blood spotting. I was given an early scan and all was fine - and I now have the baby, a lovely 14 month old!

I would think it's fine but I would call your midwife for advice to put your mind at rest.

Thanks Hoggle I'm not in the UK so I don't have a MW. I know most cases all is well like yourself and your lovely little one, I am just anxious because of my history.

Believe it or not I have lost my voice too! Will have to go in in person and see if I can get an appointment. Is there anything they can do though at this stage?

Totally understandable given what you've gone through!
What did you mean in terms of anything they can do - did you mean scan or for your throat?

EmberElftree · 19/02/2015 06:49

No, I meant nothing the doc/gyn can do if it's bad news - I had my hormones checked and all came back 'normal' but I've heard they give progesterone sometimes…? Hopefully my voice will come back by tomorrow!

I'm so sorry ember I'm not sure. I hope all is well though and that you feel better soon.

Thanks Tori and great news that all was well after that early scare. All the best with your pregnancy!

DH came home at lunch to check on me and called the gyn for me as I have no voice but she's already left for the day, I took that as a good sign to just relax and wait for my appointment on Saturday.

There's nothing on my liner it's only when I wipe and it's a very very pale fawn kind of colour so will just try to distract myself. There's nothing we can do anyway just have to let nature take its course.

Thanks again Hoggle.

Just wanted to add that I had this at 7 weeks and all was fine, sure it will be for you too - I don't know if you have access to ultrasound facilities where you are but they can usually pick up baby & heartbeat by 7 weeks
