How do I get this baby to drop?

Just that really. 36 weeks tomorrow and the little monster darling is pushing against my ribs, I'm more breathless every day, heartburn is hellish, etc.

Any advice?

This too shall pass.

Have you got a birthing / exercise ball? Sitting on that, doing some pelvic rotations, is supposed to help open up the pelvis and allow baby to drop.

Sympathies, I was having the same problem - had a head up in my ribs until 35 weeks. She has turned now, thankfully, but sitting in certain positions (like the driving seat in the car!) is almost unbearable!

Can't really help just sympathise! I'm 39 weeks and still getting lots of kicks in the ribs and heartburn. I've been told it's started to drop but I think it's just a bit squashed in there :) I'm trying the birthing ball too, that and gaviscon tablets!

Exercise ball. Yes. Working from home tomorrow so will replace desk chair with the ball. The baby is head down and I can get the heartburn under control with meds... But the breathlessness is totally killing me!
