Blood tests - how long to wait? Worried

I've had my blood tests taken for hep b, hiv etc... last Wednesday.
Anyway, for no real rational reason, I'm really worried about the results and have been getting all worked up about them.
I rang the surgery today and the rude receptionist told me my glucose and blood count were fine, I asked if the results for the nasty diseases had come in and she told me that all she had was the glucose. She told me she had no other results and could not say if/when they would be in and that I'd have to speak to midwife (who is on holiday and insisted the surgery would get the results to give to me).
I'm in a state now, does anyone know how long it can take for the hiv result to come back? I'd rather know how long it might take then ring up in hope every day.

I was told a week to 10 days, after 10 days I could ring and find out if I wanted to but they said someone would phone me if there was a problem with any of the results.

Try not to panic, I think it's probably all those pg hormones flying around and unless you've got a really good reason to think you could have HIV then you really don't need to worry. The chances are miniscule.
