Frozen Ribena ( blackcurrant for me, not low sugar!!)was what our NCT leader suggested, so did it and when on labour ward for rather a long time ( induced) got very upset when ran put and dh left me to go home to get more!!

Agree partners need food. Mine had an expensive habit at the costa down the corridor for lattes and cake!! This time will pack cereal bars, sandwiches etc for him too!

I don't really understand packing snacks. Yes, in the early stages you are told to eat (if you can face it). In the early stages, you won't be at hospital.

I do recommend snacks for after though. Tea and toast was a bloody myth at my hospital.

Maybe something like jelly babies or energy tablets.
