Hello Ladies

I am pregnant with my first child and due in August 2015. I would love to chat to other local Mums to be.

How you are feeling/coping with symptoms and generally sharing the experience of pregnancy with fellow Mums to be in the area.

Please get in touch if you fancy a chat! :)

Thanks all,
Ellie

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Hey Ellie,
I am due in September and live just outside Bury St Edmunds (on Ipswich side) so not too far :)
This will be our 3rd (and def the last), we have two little boys.
I don't feel too bad really, just really tired, I could drop off at my desk at around 3pm!! I feel sick most of the day and don't fancy most foods, but that's better than actually being sick I guess :)
How are you finding it all? Sickness? x

Thanks for getting in touch!

I was going to join another 'Due in August' thread on Mumsnet but there were so many members I couldn't keep up with the conversation threads, so thought a local group might be nice.

Wow, you must be rushed off your feet working plus 2 little ones?!

Tiredness has really been the hardest thing for me...so tired some weekends/evenings I have barely moved from the sofa, which is not like me at all!

Thankfully morning sickness has now passed (at its peak around 8 wks)...that was not fun.

I seem to have become obsessed with my diet and making sure I am eating the right things but then only fancying comfort food...mostly Chocolate digestives and then feeling a little guilty!

I am not usually neurotic btw...I will blame the hormones! :)

Having trouble sleeping/getting comfy already...I can't imagine what I will be like when I actually have a substantial bump there!

Are your two boys excited about having a new baby on the way?! Are you ready to tell work yet? x

Haha hormones are to blame for everything :) I am the same, trying to be healthy but my body is 'making' me eat crisps!!
At the weekend I snuggled up with the boys to watch a DVD and started dropping off, it's crazy, I honestly don't remember being this tired with them.
I haven't told them yet, my eldest is 6 and he will be so excited he will literally tell everyone so we thought we'd wait and tell him in a few weeks, I am going to tell work in about three weeks too, although with this being my third I'm not sure I will be able to hide the belly for too long, it seems to be making an appearance early!
Have you told work etc? Were they good about it? I know they have to be really, but I feel a bit nervous about telling mine x
