Just lighthearted really. I'm thrilled to be pregnant but keep wondering how many more symptoms can be thrown at me. Here's my symptom list...

Hyperemesis
Constipation/diorrea
Constant spitting (too much saliva)
Itchy rash all over bump
Heartburn
Blocked nose
Tiredness
Extreem body hair growth
Also I've not had a pregnancy 'bloom'

28 weeks pregnant.

Shortness of breath
Back pain
Pelvic pain
Braxton hicks
Insomnia
Crazy dreams

ConcreteElephant · 16/02/2015 09:33

Oh, I had the excess saliva - that was horrible. I used to walk up the Embankment on the way to the train station on the way home from work and had to keep leaning over the wall to spit in the Thames - I tried to be subtle and pretend I was admiring the river or a boat or a view...every 50ft or so!

Sympathies.

ISolemnlySwearImUptoNoGood · 16/02/2015 09:36

Breathlessness (asthmatic)
Blocked nose and lack of taste
Vivid dreams
Dry mouth and thirst
Excess body hair
Spots
Gagging / sickness reflux which can strike any time (usually teeth brushing, eating)

19 weeks today! Tbh I expected pregnancy to be worse than it has been (with the exception of nausea in week 6-12 which was horrible).

happygojo · 16/02/2015 11:17

ooh ooh I have one that isn't mentioned!

  • Meralgia Paresthetica

Numbness on my left thigh that occasionally becomes a 'burning, tingling, itchy' sensation at times due to my uterus lying on a nerve. This mostly bothers me at night as I am dutifully trying to sleep on my left side.

I also crave melon.... all of the time.

cunexttuesonline · 16/02/2015 12:07

Oh god, how could I forget my worst symptom - fucking HEARTBURN!! Horrendous.

Choccyhobnob · 16/02/2015 13:03

I'm glad someone mentioned nosebleeds! Never had one in my life and then had 2 impressive ones at the weekend!

I actually don't have that many other symptoms:

Tiredness
large and tender breasts
Occasional nausea
Dizziness (but not for last 2 weeks)
Oily skin
Nosebleeds!

I'm only 10 weeks though lol

ShrinkingViolet83 · 16/02/2015 14:23

I'm finding this weirdly comforting because I've just developed a new symptom at almost 36 weeks: recurring period-type cramps that don't seem to be BH or contractions but make it very difficult to sit upright (I'm at work so have to sit upright). Other than the new symptom I have had:

Nausea and vomiting (thankfully only really bad in first trimester but some nausea seems to be returning now in late pregnancy)
Bad taste in my mouth
Superhuman sense of smell
Exhaustion
Sore breasts
Spitting
Burping (especially when I talk)
Indigestion
Round ligament pain
Hip pain
Back pain
Some pelvic pain
Restless legs and pins and needles
Night-time leg cramps (only really bad if I eat salty food)
Nosebleeds and occasional bleeding gums
Unexpectedly bursting into tears at the slightest provocation
General grumpiness
Also, not really a symptom but the baby kicking (especially under my ribs) is starting to be quite painful

I realise that I'm fortunate to be pregnant and to have avoided any properly worrying complications but I can't wait for this to be over.

Fizzy13 · 16/02/2015 14:30

This is all very reassuring, thank you everyone.
I'm reading these lists thinking -me too! Especially Isolemnlyswear everything except the insomnia, I'm sleeping 14hrs a day!
Only 7+3 but I had no idea you could be this tired and still go to work!

Number3cometome · 16/02/2015 14:38

Oh farting, I forgot farting. A lot.

bubalou · 16/02/2015 16:22

I know it sounds harsh but I'm kind of glad I'm not alone - although of course it's not nice you're all suffering.

I'm 25 weeks and so far have had -

Hyperemsis
Raging heartburn
Spots
Lizard dry skin
Haemorrhoids
Thrush
Sciatica
Excessive saliva
Migraines

God I'm so attractive. ConfusedConfusedConfused

bubalou · 16/02/2015 16:23

Forgot the UTI and insomnia.

BingoBonkers · 16/02/2015 16:40

SarfEasticated · 16/02/2015 19:06

I am only 7 weeks but feel like I have a low grade virus,
hot and cold
tired
breathless
nasty taste in mouth
feeling very nauseous when faced with everyday smells - bin, litter tray, dishwasher, the general public, not actually sick
headaches
sore breasts and nipples.

as I don't look pg and haven't announced it yet I can't even complain about it, or get a seat on the tube!

teejayem · 16/02/2015 19:45

24 weeks...and I've had../ still have the following delights...

Pregnant Rhinitis
Sexy dreams featuring very inappropriate guest stars
Hairy tummy
Nosebleeds
Heartburn
Alternating constipation and diarrhoea
Ridiculously itchy scalp
Unexplained wrist rash
Evening & motion sickness
PGP
Facial skin like sandpaper
Round ligament pain
Bleeding after sex
Braxton hicks after sex
Acne
Sciatica
Fatigue
Boobs- resemble an AA roadmap with new and exciting veins. And dark nipples. And I felt like they were going to explode for the first 12 weeks.
Absent mindedness/ downright idiocy
Zero concentration.

PoseyParker · 16/02/2015 19:51

Hahah! I was just listing all the things wrong with me this afternoon. Feeling very sorry for myself at 37 weeks. I have:

SPD
Pelvic pain
Anaemia
PUPP - the most horrible itchy rash all over my body. What's worse is that it's pretty unlikely to get it once (1 in 200 women) but twice is really unlucky (only 7% of those women get it in their second) I could scream!
Haemorrhoids
Sinusitis
Cold
Sore throat
Nausea
Acid reflux
Constant need to pee
Insomnia

Oh, and an 18 month old who doesn't care about any of this and loves to run.

Woe is me!

misssmilla1 · 16/02/2015 21:13
