Hello

Wondering if anyone has any advice.

Am currently 8+3 and am tired beyond belief which I can deal with but the seemingly never ending sickness, constipation and now piles!!!

Completly drained and now in absolute agony can't even sit down, lying down is fine but this is not ideal when I have an office job!

Does anyone think it would be sensible to see dr tommorow or carry on regardless? My booking appointment isn't until 2nd march so not sure what else to do :/

Thanks in advance and sorry for complaining!!!!

I think the consensus is that if you are struggling to function normally as it were, then go and ask the GP for advice. Don't struggle and exhaust yourself unnecessarily. Good luck x

Hi Glitterball86,

I had the exact same problems in the first trimester, I'm now 37 weeks and can safely say things will get better for you!

I went to the GP for sickness, constipation and piles- got anti sickness tablets, a laxative and some cream for piles. Felt better in no time! I still get piles now and again but just start using the cream again and feel relief very quickly!

Definitely go to the doctors!

X

Doctors will give you the good stuff for the piles. Over the counter stuff is meh

Go to bed at 7pm. You will feel better in a few weeks, I promise

Yes, if ur really that bad go to ur gp who should sign u off for a couple of weeks. Ive been off with hypermesis for about 10 weeks now. Dont struggle on, and take care of urself and baby xx

Thank you so much for your advice ladies it's much appreciated!!

Have gp appointment this morning so will let you know how it goes.

My work weren't too impressed and normally I would panick about their reaction but at this moment in time I couldn't care less. I work 50 hours a week at the moment but my welfare doesn't seen to concen them :/

My partner says I should suck it in and get on with it as their are loads of women who would give their left arm to be in our position which I fully appreciate but this makes me feel guilty for feeling how I do

Ah well, at least, as many of you have said, it does get better :)

Enjoy your rest my darling and as for your other half... he can have an opinion when he has another person growing in his body ;)

Every single pregnancy is different and if I've learned anything over the last few weeks its NOT to compare my journey quite so much. I'm one of the very luck ones so far and really haven't had much in the way of symptoms, it frightened me so much I had an early scan yesterday. Needless to say everythings fine but it did show me, every woman and every baby is different.

You take as much time as you need, ignore work, if they were following the rules they should have been completing risk assessments with you regularly and one of the questions on there should have been around fatigue and how they can accommodate you.

If they haven't.. then... their bad.

Watch Jezzy Kyle and sip hot sweet tea... oh and leave your legs and foof to grow into a forest.

You'll feel chirpier in no time!

Thankyou ImpatiencePersonfied :)

Work have been shocking all they have said to me so far is to think about what I want to do regarding returning to work after the baby is born! I was made redundant in November and only started this job in December so don't even get any sick pay but I really could not care at this moment in time lol

Currently led on bed watching loose women not thinking about anything and just relaxing it is bliss don't think I have ever done this before :)
