When did you test positive

I'm 4 days late. I've taken 6 pregnancy tests from the same packet. All negative.

Is there still hope? When I've been pregnant before I've had bfps either on missed period day or before. I'm usually very regular.

If you're using FR or CB I think they're usually 99% accurate from day of missed period. But its possible you ovulated later this cycle?

I couldn't get a positive until late on, I think a urine infection masked it xx

6 days past due I got my first faint BFP. Tested 2 days and 4 days late before hand with bfns. 7 days past I tested again just to double check and got a much stronger line.

I got a faint line 3 days before AF was due. But many people don't show up until later. maybe give it another 3 or 4 days and make sure you're using morning wee!

I was 6 days late. Tested on due date and 2 days after and got negative. I had a urine infection too. My theory was I was weeping so often the hormones never had time to build up enough. FMU was no help as I was up and down all night!

I tested positive at 12dpo both pregnancies, but I was using the cheap strips which detect lower levels I think.

4 days before my period was due for this one - which is really, really unusual for me. I was 5 days late before I got a BFP both the previous times and even then the ClearBlue Digitals were saying not pregnant. First Response was much more reliable!

I've tested positive since the day I was due on but only very very faint lines. Best were first respons. And clear blue. They are darkening each day but on the tesco ones I still hardly show. Perhaps try a first response??

12 dpo with all 3 pregnancies using various different types of tests. I started testing a few days beforehand, and this was the first day a very faint line appeared each time.

I found superdrug own brand to be the best and much cheaper than first response, clear blue etc.

i got a very feint bfp 4 days before af. i had ordered some ic cheapies and tested on these 2 days later and was still v feint even tho i got a clear line on asda tests.

did a cb digi day before af and got 2-3wks. ic was still feint that day.

when i say feint my first test 4 days before af some people would ave said they couldnt see it. i just knew tho and could obv see something.

I was two days before my period was due. I tested for the same reason I had the first time - I was going somewhere I thought I'd get plied with booze and wanted to be sure.

Both times I tested positive before my period was due though but that can just be the way your body reacts to the hormones or how much it produces.

Have you done any more tests OP?

Hello all. I am 40 days late on my period. We are trying for our first child. I just don't understand why I am getting negative test results! Has anyone gone through this before? Thanks in advance

It is possible. I am 14 weeks pregnant with twins and am still not getting a bfp. On a previous thread last week a woman was told repeatedly by her dr that she wasn’t pregnant as the tests were negative. In the end she made them do a scan and she’s 17 weeks pregnant. I had to get a private scan to take to my dr to make her believe.
It’s rare but it does happen.
