Can you have a newborn photo shoot outside?

Sorry probably a stupid question, but our baby is due next month and ever since I found out we'd be having a March baby I've wanted to do a little newborn photo shoot in our local botanical gardens. Just because I kept saying all winter "as soon as the flowers come back the baby will be here", and I know the gardens have carpets of daffs in March/April. I wanted to get a photographer to photograph the family in the gardens but would that be OK for a baby of a few weeks old? Is there a limit to how long they can be outside (sorry I'm totally clueless). Assuming it's not raining I guess the temperature should be pretty much OK - not too hot but not freezing.

Of course you can. As long as you're not stripping the baby naked it'll be fine. You will get some gorgeous pictures of everything freshly in bloom.
