11 wks pg
Had a horrible d&v bug that lasted under 24 hours but left me feeling so ill that I can only compare to post emcs of dc1 when I had had big blood loss and infection. Was so achey was almost unbearable and was really struggling to move at all. Never had a high fever that I could tell though. I know this may be unnecessary worrying (I'm good at that) but has left me feeling, if I felt that ill will bean be ok?
Have already had an early scan and nhs scan not until 12+6 :-(

Yes, the baby is very well protected, you being ill will not normally affect it at all. If its something that crosses the placenta its a different matter, but gastric flu you're fine. You just feel worse yourself being pregnant!

I had the worst food poisoning of my life at 23 weeks. I honestly thought I would die. I landed in hospital. Baby was 100% fine.
