I have been having really bad cramps today and yesterday, thought it was indigestion or the usual culprit constipation but i've been going regularly. i am also dosed with the flu but should i be concerned that the cramps are still there or should i just leave it?

Braxton hicks are uncomfortable but painless. Do they come and go or is it constant cramp?

gabrielle1201 · 12/02/2015 15:17

They come and go but Ive had a lot of pain and discomfort with it.

You haven't said how far along you are but I'd be ringing your maternity assessment unit for advice as I highly doubt that's Braxton hicks. Is baby moving okay?

im 32 weeks atm, its been moving but not as much as usual, should i give them a ring?

Call them, that's what they're for, better to be checked and find out everything is fine, they say to get any change in movements checked.

Yes. Any change in movements needs to be checked out, especially alongside pain. They could be nothing, or they could be contractions so you really need to be seen. Dont worry about wasting anyone's time, it's what they're there for. Let us know how you get on!

okay so baby was fine, apparently i have a 'perfect' baby the doctor said all is well, growing great and now her bum is sticking out my belly and she's squirming around. Doctor said i have an irritated uterus due to dehydration so need to keep my fluids up. Thank goodness!
