Today I was hit in the stomach by a child at school. It wasn't too hard but has freaked me out somewhat. I've had cramps today but I'm having those anyway. Should I call gp? My booking app isn't til 9 weeks. Anyone got any advice or words of reassurance?!

It is so deep within your pelvis at the moment it is surrounded by a bone cage. Don't worry Smile

Baby is well cushioned against knocks and bumps and at the moment us sat well below your public bone inside your pelvic cavity so will have come to no harm :)

My car was hit by a bus at 12 weeks, the doctor couldn't have been any less concerned that I was pregnant as I felt ok. If you don't experience any symptoms such as bleeding they won't do anything. Baby is well-protected.

Thanks everyone. Feel much better for hearing your reassurances.Need to be a bit less hyper sensitive and worried! Still, I'm giving that little fellow a wide berth tomorrow!

You'll be fineSmile your baby is still a tiny bean really well protected inside you. I can understand your anxiety though, I fell down the stairs at around 5 weeks and was very worried. If that had happened with ds (my first pregnancy) I would have expected nothing less than a spell in intensive care for constant monitering though!
