Feeling Odd - anyone else?

I'm 7 +4 so very early days but for the last week or so I've been feeling odd after eating.

Not sick, just like... floaty and jittery. It's a bit like I've had too much caffeine and not enough sugar.

It can't be something like gestational diabetes already can it?

No you would most likely feel lethargic after eating if it was GD. Don't worry you will get your bloods done soon too if you haven't already so they will be able to tell you if you're 'borderline'

Ahh good stuff, since my appointment with the midwife a few weeks back I've heard nothing. They didn't take any bloods at that appointment and the only thing I've heard since is that I have a scan on the 18th of March.

Is this normal? Or should I expect to hear more?

Do you not have another MW appt? Between 8-9 weeks? Otherwise it sounds pretty normal.

If you have any worries ask your gp to send you for an MOT on your bloods

Nope, got nada and wasn't asked to book anything... may just call tomorrow and ask what the bejeebus I'm meant to do.

No one explains the rules :(

Thanks for your help!

Basically, they're not all that interested in you until your last trimester I think!
