Pregnancy 3rd trimester and piles! 😪

Hi i am 38 weeks pregnant and for past 2 days have had a pile swell and is very painful to point i can hardly sit, walk! I got cream at chemist and isn helping! Anyone been in this position and did anything help? Im not constipated so puzzled how it came about thanks!feeling very miserable!

Yes, have been plagued with them for years and worse in pregnancy. Go to gp and ask for something stronger as there are much stronger things on prescription and suppositories are good on top of the ointment or cream. Scheriproct was the best thing for me. Also ice pack in knickers - I use Fempad which is designed for soreness after birth. I feel for you, it's horrible. I had to take painkillers mine were so bad.

Oh god I remember the awful piles. I'm only 17 weeks with dc2 so I have all that to come. Did chemist give you the strong anusol? Xx

I went to gp today and got cream, to use ice for swelling just hope it away in time for labour! I tried anusol and another type of cream but they didn do any good x
