Sorry if there's a thread elsewhere on this, I did do a cursory search. I'm too tired for any more than that... Did anyone else experience what can only be described as 'stabby' pains in their boobs? And cramping in their upper thighs? What is going on? Confused

Hi, aw that's not nice. I hope the pain hasn't woken you up? I'm awake because the cat decided to rearrange the kitchen at 3.30am!
I haven't really had the stabby pains in my boobs but before I went to bed last night I had an achey stabby pain in my lower leg and it got worse when I got up about half an hour ago and I felt like limping! Not too sure what it is. I'm thinking/hoping it's nothing to worry about. I'm guessing the boob pain could be just growing pains. And they do say you tend to get more aches and pains as you go along. How far along are you?

I remember stab by pains in my boo when I was pregnant, hormone surges I would put it down to. Reduced me to tears at nod point. Keep them warm! The cold makes it worse IMO.

Excuse spelling mistakes... Up with 3 month old daughter doing feeds and she is wired! Used to be a great sleeper. Suddenly not!!

Not very far long, 4 or so weeks. My boobs in general are tender as hell. The stabby stuff started last night.

I would say the boob pain sounds pretty normal for the early stages (or any stage for that matter!) if you're concerned speak to your doctor but I think it's a pretty common early symptom x

Stinkersmum · 10/02/2015 06:02

Not concerned, just that this is my first pregnancy and wanted to make sure it was normal (ish)!

Definitely normal boob pain. WARNING: this is a precursor to a sudden increase in size and you will need to buy new bras in about a week!
Upper thigh I've not heard of before, but pregnancy does some very weird stuf to you! If it continues, see your GP.

DoctorDonnaNoble · 10/02/2015 06:28

I've got the boob thing going on as well. And I'd second the 'it's worse when it's cold'.

m33r · 10/02/2015 07:14

I'm 34+5 and I get the thigh thing but have only started getting it recently. No idea what it is but it makes me gasp and grab then disappears. Panics my dh every time!

Gemzybelle · 10/02/2015 09:48

Sorry to be the harbinger of doom but this is a taster of late pregnancy.

Spent last night sobbing to DH about the unfairness of having stabbing pains up my arse.

Congratulations Grin
