15+2 Pain, what's normal?

15+2 with my first and I'm having a lot of pain which dp wants me to get checked out but I'm not sure if it's just normal.

I've been having lots of aches in my legs and what feels like the bones/muscles around my hips, pelvis and lower back.

I've also been getting regular, stabbing/ shooting pains in my stomach. Sharp pains on each side which felt like my ovaries, and really low down in my belly almost in my pubic region. As well as the odd twinge type sharp pain which will come and go.

I'm worried as the stomach pains feel very sharp and tend to be sudden, sometimes it's as if I'm being pricked with a knife over and over in different places from the inside.

I'm hoping this is all normal and I'm just sort of overreacting, I haven't had any bleeding, but my sickness which disappeared for a couple of weeks has come back.

Does it sound like all is okay? Should I be taking immediate action or maybe mention it to my MW?

(sorry for the length)

I would definitely mention this to your MW. Sharp pains shouldn't be ignored and always better to be on the safe side. Gas from being bloated can cause such pains but best to have it checked to put your and your partners minds at rest.

Btw, I'm 15+1 and feel like I have sore muscles in my bum, as if I had a rough workout (had none!) And I'm waking up almost every morning with lower back pain thee days. But that I've had sometimes before I got pregnant as well.

Thanks for your reply!
I've been finding it really difficult to distinguish between symptoms & pains etc being normal, worth checking out or alarming. Worry about overreacting over every little thing! Blush

I will definitely arrange to talk to my MW.

I know what you mean about the bum pain, it's a strange feeling, I've also had a touch of sciatic pain before now and that's bloody awful, Flowers for you and good luck in your pregnancy :) x
