Stitch pains when walking

In 26+5 week and no matter how slow or fast I walk I get a really painful stitch along the bottom of my bump Confused hurts that much I have to stop walking a hunch over. It's been happened for the past 2 weeks now. My baby always seems to be really low down when I'm up and active. Could this be what the pain is?

Watching because my bump aches and I get a stitch too. Thought "shit am I that unfit?"

One chicken to another

it could just be the weight of your baby pulling your bump down if your feeling really concerned head to the doctors dont just sit on it hunnie all the best good luck

I'm 26 weeks too and have had this since xmas, every so often when I walk i et a stitch in my bump. I just think it's ligaments/extra weight on your muscles etc.

MrsLovell · 07/02/2015 14:45

Google round ligament pain, I get a sharp pain like a stitch or a pulled muscle for a few seconds sometimes when I move quickly or sneeze, right round my bikini line, If it's more of a deep bruise type pain it could be pelvic girdle pain. But maybe a good idea to speak to your GP or midwife to get it checked out if it's stopping you moving around there are things they can do to help

I had this in the last two months of my pregnancy. It only got worse I'm afraid. I never got it checked, I just assumed it was the extra weight and my body telling me to slow down. In hindsight i probably should have mentioned it to midwife/gp!

SPD?

You got hunned Grin

I get pain too. I've bought a strong support band and it seems to have helped.

It's probably your muscles which are softening and moving.

I had it too with DD. Not sure what it was but presumed it was Braxton hicks. Walking brought it on sometimes and walking home from work clutching bump was a challenge for onlookers lol
