Pre-eclampsia or just a random pain?

Hi all this evening I started getting pain in my left side of my ribs tummy area it was sharp like a stabbing pain also there was a few stabs on the right also went after a couple of minutes.
Just wondering if this is a sign of preeclampsia as my midwife and consultant told me to look out for pain in upper rid area but not sure if this is the what they ment!
I had midwife appointment yesterday and urine was fine baby seems happy enough moving about, don't really know what els im looking out for I have pulled my neck so that's hurting but don't think its connected.
I am currently 31+6 with a high BMI of 37 my consultant thinks my blood pressure could be better an needs monitoring every 2 weeks due to family history of it but midwife says my consultant is useless an blood pressure is fine it was fine at midwife appoinment yesterday and urine was I am assuming this pre eclampsia would of been picked up yesterday.

So is it just a random pregnancy pain or should i be concerned it was rather painful stabbing pain but soon stopped thanks in advance x

Hmmm. Could be either I think! If it gets worse if call maternity unit. Reassuring about results yesterday but it can change quickly.

Thanks haggis yes was wondering if can change quickly not come back as of yet but have gone to bed to rest see how i get on x

I think if it's not constant it's more likely to be trapped wind or indigestion! Any headaches or blurred vision off to maternity unit.
