Lower bump pain

I am 22 weeks and have awful pain right at the bottom of my bump. It isn't in a particular place it is all the bottom from left side to right. I am thinking it is maybe just growing pains as bubs is active and kicking away happily. There is nothing i should be looking out for with these pains is there? This is my 3rd pregnancy but obviously worry just as much with this pregnancy as i did with my other 2. I am a single mum with a 3yr and 1yr old so 'putting my feet' up isnt as easy as it sounds.

Google 'round ligament pain', it's more than likely this, probably not helped by having to wrestle 2 toddlers

It could be also SPD. Does it come or gets triggered by certain movements?

Sounds like round ligament pain to me, probably made worse by having to run around after toddlers! Have a nice bath once you've got them to bed.

Following as I'm 23 weeks and having a similar issue - have been having 'muscle pulling' feelings I figured were round ligament pain, but this is different I think - more like a stich, but not. I get it when I'm walking for any length of time, definitely feel it in the bottom of my bump.
I hadn't considered it could be SPD, from what I'd heard I'd formed the idea it was more of a pain in your hip joints?

SPD pain can be at the bottom of your bump.

It could also be weight of baby lating transverse in bottom of bump if you've been active during day (and with two tots you will have hardly sat down) so the ligaments take the strain ... try spending ten mins on all 4 doing a puzzle or something with the kiddies, don't arch your back ... see if it encourages a shift in movement and eases off. I'm suffering terribly this time around with #6 as everything has stretched before and there's a lot less support there :)

The ligament stretches as your womb grows so jabbing or cramping feelings are pretty normal to experience. I'm 15w and experience this once or twice a fortnight I'd say. Sudden movements can bring it on too. I've been experiencing it more when I cough as I have a stupid cold

SPD can be on the middle bottom of your bump.

Do you have any pain when trying to stand on one leg, like when putting on socks, shoes? Do you have pain when turning in the bed from one side to other?

Thankyou for all your comments. I think it is just round ligament pain as many have suggested. I haven't had it since and bubs is more than active so as people are saying, running around after 2 tots all day is more than likely putting a little extra strain on things. All is well though but thanks again

Had this around the same time after having had round ligament pain since 13 weeks. Like someone else said, this was different pain and not a stretch. For me I'm having twins I'd had a recent scan and it showed both babies were head down when the previous scan they had been more transverse. The stitch from under my rib had gone at the same time which the physio had said was likely to be baby position related so think they'd shifted around inside and the pain in my pelvis (right above my pubic hair rather than in my groin which I'd had since 13 weeksnd was PGP) was just them shifting into head down. It's eased a bit now at 25 weeks but does sometimes come back so just telling myself it is them fidgeting and nothing to worry about. If you're worried though give your mw a call
