Test two different results? What to trust?

Clear blue test? Two different dates? Please help :(?
So I did a clear blue test and it said 2-3 weeks. I'm confused as I had my lmp 17th dec. I had sex with my ex on 25th dec and then I was with someone else on 17th jan... What you say the time I likely get pregnant?!

I think it will be the last persons baby based on clear blue. How long is your cycle normally?

If your LMP started on the 17th dec seems unlikely you would have conceived on the 25th but also seems unlikely you would have conceived a month after your LMP. Either way you might have irregular cycles but bear in mind those clear blue things are not especially precise.

I'm normally on a 28 day/30 day. I feel dreadful me & my ex have a 3 year old & I miscarried last year. It split us up. So Christmas was an accident (too many drinks & emotions!) so now I'm so confused xx

Oh dear I'm sorry to hear you're having to deal with this Flowers maybe wait a few days and try another test? Or perhaps you could try and get an early scan in the next few weeks? At least when you find out how far along you are you'll know whose it is since the encounters are three weeks apart. Good luck x

I wouldn't rely on CB or an early scan.

CB said I was 1-2 weeks when I thought I was 3-4 weeks pregnant, early scan put me back a week (when I was 8 weeks) then was put forward a week at 12 week scan.

The only definitive way to know in dates this close would be a DNA test.

I did another test yesterday & I got 3 weeks + ... X

I agree with number3 but I think the scan is likely more accurate than CB test... 3+ weeks means December encounter probably, right?

I conceived 10 days after LMP. It would seem more likely the 25th than the Janx

I would say more likely to be from the 25th december, as you dont have to concieve on that date, it can last a few days or more, according to my 12wk scan I concieved 6 days after last dtd, although I think its a few days out x

I hope so thank you guys! I have my early scan tomorrow super early! So I will let you know how I get on! I just can't believe one encounter can allow you to fall pregnant! Xx

Does your ex know there's a possibility it might not be his baby? Also if your 5 weeks pregnant that means you conceived approx 3 weeks ago which would make it the other guys????

Bondy is right, they add 2 weeks onto pregnancy, so 5 and abit weeks pregnant is 3 and abit since conception. If you where pregnant from the 25th dec encounter you should be going upto 9 weeks by now (7 since conception + 2 weeks added on) early scans are not always accurate mine was a week out but I dont think they are as much as 3/4 week out. I really hope you get the outcome you want.

Did the scan show you as 5 weeks pregnant or 5 weeks from conception?

If you put your LMP of 17/12/14 into a pregnancy calculator it gives you a due date of 23/09/15 and states you are 8 weeks pregnant.

As you are 5 weeks it would suggest the second encounter is more likely to have resulted in pregnancy.

Thanks everyone the scan showed I was 5 weeks pregnant. I have uploaded the notes on here... Is that how it works? X

5 weeks pregnant means you conceived 3 weeks ago so dates would match up with the 17th Jan.
