Hi all, just interested in other people's experiences really. I'm currently 39/6 due tomorrow with my first baby and don't appear to have any signs symptoms of impending labour at all. Has this happened to others and they have gone overdue or does no symptoms not necessarily mean that's??? Many thanks from an impatient mummy in waiting!!!

Sounds normal. EDD is an estimate after all. You are very likely to go into labour in the next 2 weeks but also likely to not get any warning at all! Nothing happened to me until labour started though it took a few hours for me to realise it was actually happening. Good luck.

I got no signs whatsoever, was induced 12 days over, still nothing, c-section 15 days over.

Thanks for the replies, the thought at the minute of going two weeks over makes me want to cry but I suppose baby will come when ready

Only 5% of babies arrive on their due date. The vast majority arrive after. Try to relax and enjoy the peace.
