Hi, I don't have my booking in app until 15th and Midwife basically said she thinks going for an early scan is a waste of money but I'm doing it as I'm so nervous that baby might not be OK. I've had no bleeding or any reason to think I've miscarried but I just need a bit of reassurance & I think im about 11 weeks anyway & would like the date estimated. Wish me luck... I'm a bag of nerves!!

In my experience it's totally natural to want early reassurance because at this stage you just can't tell what's going on eh?! I too went for an early scan as I was convinced all was not well (it was and am now 19 weeks!). It really helped me relax a bit more and stop thinking the worst. Good luck for tomorrow!

Good luck, don't sorry about what midwife thinks, I've booked a private scan for next week (I'm 15+2) as is too long till 20 week. Its nice to have reassurance if you worry, I hope your scan goes well xx

Good luck! I've had a couple of early scans (11 and 6 weeks) and think its a good idea to ask the qualifications of whoever is scanning you (I - through luck, not planning - had a senior consultant from local hospital and 15 years experienced sonographer, so knew I could trust the results). Also ask how accurate the equipment is, as there can be a big difference.

Fingers crossed all is good for you and you see a perfect little heartbeat tomorrow, I think its really good to find out early how everything is going. :)

Good luck don't be disheartened if they don't find anything with you - it happened to me turned out they wasn't even looking in the right area.

Had a scan at the hospital 4 days later found a bean with a heartbeat immediately.

Thanks for all your comments. My appointments at 5.30... I feel sick! Using babybond (ultrasound direct) so I hope they are OK. I've read reviews and they seem legit. I'm just so nervous.

I've used baby bond a few times and they were excellent. In fact, I went for a growth scan at 32 weeks, and the sonographer was the same woman who had done my 12 week NHS scan so that reassured me that they were qualified xx

Ps- good luck xx

Well I'm 9 weeks pregnant & heard a lovely little heartbeat. Babybond was great and I'm feeling a lot happier smiling ear to ear. Definitely worth the £100 xx
