I'm 29 weeks. Today I have spent all day chasing around a toddler whilst projectile vomiting. Again.

I managed to eat about a quarter of a piece of toast this morning and nothing else all day. All I have done is vomit. It's been like this all the way through and I really thought it would be better by now. It feels like I've tried everything.

Just needing a rant. The next twelve weeks feel like the longest of my life.

Hey, I don't have any words of wisdom but I'm 28 weeks & still throwing up plus horrible nausea cant go anywhere without a sick bag Confused I'm a first timer so hoping when baby comes it is not as hard as this pregnancy!

koloumbo · 04/02/2015 19:23

Oh you'll get no sleep but it will be joyous and nowhere near as heavy, sicky and exhausted as a pregnancy like this Grin. I just can't wait for it to be over!

sleepybee · 04/02/2015 20:11

If rather be on Mat leave with a baby & no sleep than having to commute to work & be there all day being & feeling sick Confused

hestialou · 04/02/2015 20:32

Oh no! Thought its supposed to stop at 13 weeks. I am only 7 weeks, and was looking forward to it getting better soon Confused

hestialou · 04/02/2015 20:33

Hope you feel better soon x

Are you checking you are not dehydrated? Are you managing to keep any fluid down?

You have my sympathy, it is awful. you have my permission to punch anyone who suggests a ginger biscuit.

I took anti sickness pills in my last pregnancy, still felt dreadful but was able to eat. The Hyperemesis support thread here was a lifesaver.

Lol at ginger biscuits I still get colleagues offering me them even although I've been sick at work for months now Confused

Agreed, it's awful, I'm 31 weeks with my first and still have nausea- I managed to stop being sick every day at around 19 weeks, but if very tired it comes back with a vengeance, and as I work nights that's still at least a couple of times a week :( could you persuade someone to look after your toddler for a few hours so you can have a nap?

Bair · 05/02/2015 16:17

Have you tried anti sickness pills?

I ask as I was left to suffer like you are all the way through my first pregnancy. HG wasn't even mentioned. I was sick morning noon and night and hated every minute of my pregnancy. I was brushed off my hcps and told 'everyone has morning sickness'.

This time round I stamped my feet, demanded they test my wee (surprise surprise ketones and sugar) and have been given anti sickness meds. GP's hate giving them out in this area, but the hospital was fine with it.

Argh I too thought I only had another couple of weeks if relentless nausea left. I thought the placenta was meant to stop MS?!!!
