Stupid question - working out my scan date

I am around 9 weeks pregnant I believe. I know exactly when I conceived (hubby not around much due to working away) and roughly when the first day of my last period was. My query is, do they work the 12 week scan out by 12 weeks from your 1st day of LMP or actually from conception? ie will I be 12 weeks from LMP or actual conception?

it is all worked out from the LMP...!! your dates shouldn;t differ massively...but the hospital always say their dates are the correct ones....

plus although you might make love on one day,, the egg might not have been released that day and sperm can survive several days..so might not be the exact day you think! but won;t be far off
