Itchy legs?

I'm 28+5 and the last few days my lower legs have been itching like bloody crazy. Is this pregnancy related and what can I do to soothe them? They are fine during the day but in the evening, bloody hell they itch to death!

Is it on your hands and feet? could be an indication of OC which is linked to your liver in pregnancy. best to get checked by a doctor

It's just on my calves. I've got an antenatal appt on Friday, so I'll mention it then

Put those flexible ice packs on them. Used to work wonders for me when I itched like mad during my pregnancies!

So are mine!!! Aghhhh!! So irritating isn't it. I've been itchy over bump and lower back but legs have just started today. Have my 31w appt with midwife tomorrow so will ask her. I do find that some moisturiser helps in the short term.

I get this. I'm 33+5. I just moisturise loads more than usual which helps.

For me it's my arms. So annoying! I've been using Lush Dream Cream which is pretty good, it's got lavender so it's quite soothing. Arms, stomach, boobs. Does the trick!

Make sure any of you with itchiness get checked out for your liver. Mine started with itchy legs at 33 weeks and they confirmed OC via blood tests at 35 weeks. baby whipped out via c section at 38 weeks and thankfully all ok. It's v rare, so don't worry, but definitely mention it!

please make sure you tell your midwife and get it checked. It can be a symptom of a condition called colistasis. which is dangerous at the end of pregnancy.
