Just wondering as it's all new to me, my midwife says baby has started to engage at 34 weeks, I definitely feel a difference now it's not squishing my lungs! How long do they take to properly engage? Is it like a few days or a few weeks?

DS didn't engage until I was in labour I don't think. He was "sat high" IYKWIM and I never developed the Jon Wayne waddle! I don't think there are any hard and fast rules about it!
