Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has had a Clarins mum to be massage? I was just wondering what it entails and what position you are in during the massage.

Thanks in advance xx

I don't think I've had a Clarins but I've had two pregnancy massages at two different spas. They were both lovely, one had me on the floor on loads of beanbags just turning from one side and then the other, the next had a hospital style profile bed (although nicer obvs) and I lay on my side, then for the last bit she put the top of the bed up a bit so I could lie on my back (but tilted up). They both entailed gentle massage, they offer to massage your bump but they ask first in case you're uncomfortable with it. Felt amazing afterwards.

I had several of these (v lucky!) and loved them. I was anxious for various reasons during my pregnancy and these really helped to relax me. They start with you undressing to your pants and putting on a soft fluffy robe backwards, so that your back is uncovered. You then sit on a stool at the end of the couch and lean forward over a nice warm pile of towels so that your body is supported. You then have a wonderful back massage, and then move to sit on the couch (slightly inclined) and after removing the robe you are covered with towels and have rolled towels underneath your knees to support your legs. You then have a lower leg and foot massage, arm and hand massage, and a head and shoulder massage, all of which are heavenly! You also have the option to have cream rubbed in very lightly on your bump. I would definitely recommend them. They were something I really loved during my pregnancy and gave me a space just for me. Hope this helps!

That's really helpful- thanks so much! Was curious to know if you lie on your back at any time as its so uncomfortable these days!! Xx

I had one a couple of weeks back- same experience as cheeky and definitely highly recommended from me- my only down side was that i booked in so late (they only do them up to 37 weeks) that i couldnt have two!

You don't lie down fully at any point, and I forgot to add that there's also a short facial. Hope you enjoy it! :)
